
Lubrication Technician – Spiritwood, ND
Job Summary:
The Lubrication Technician utilizes predictive technologies to collect condition data for early detection of machine faults. The Lubrication Technician must have a strong safety culture and commitment to safety, self-motivated, and be able to work alone. Notify operations and maintenance colleagues of equipment deficiencies thru the CMMS so that the team can affectively plan schedule and repair.
Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all plant safety and operating guidelines.
• Collect equipment condition data to prevent unplanned failures.
• Conduct routine predictive maintenance (PM’s) such as maintaining equipment fluid levels, ensure lubrication of key components, and monitor equipment health
• Apply predictive techniques to each asset as outlined by the Strategy to Maintain Document.
• Utilize predictive technologies including but not limited to vibration, thermal imaging (IR), and ultrasonic emission (UE).
• Implementation and skills development of precision maintenance tools.
• Work in conjunction with Maintenance Engineers and Reliability Engineers perform equipment modifications to enhance the lubrication, vibration and PM / PdM programs.
• Understands their role in food safety and quality systems, actively participates in food safety efforts and ensures all activities conform to good manufacturing practices.
• Responsible for utilizing the Performance Excellence process.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must Successfully complete all GBSP, LLC Safety Certification requirements
- Experience/familiarity with computers/electronics
